Hello fellow pop culture junkies and welcome to A Kernel of Pop Culture!

We are two best friends with a good amount of time on our hands and too many obsessions. We love all things pop culture from movies to music to fashion to books, and we always tend to talk about them ad nauseam. We have tried to do something like this for a long time, and let me tell you it has always kind of crashed and burned. We've tried blogging before and even attempted a YouTube channel. We love to talk about this kind of stuff and we just wanted to share our conversations with the world! Finally, we just decided to try out podcasting and so A Kernel of Pop Culture was born!

In case you want me to explain it a little bit, I will! And if you don't want me to explain it, then you can just skip this paragraph. The whole kernel thing is a play on the word pop. Pop corn. Pop culture. A kernel of it. A little bit of it. Hence, a little bit of pop culture! There you go!

So, on this blog we will write a little bit and post our podcast episodes! In the posts with the podcasts, we will post the videos or pictures we talk about so it makes it a little easier to follow along with!

We hope you like our random banter on anything and everything pop culture! And we hope you stick around while we attempt a new adventure and learn all about podcasting and creating a successful blog!
